If you have
been around the pool recently you may have noticed a new face on
deck. Braden Tobler has joined the team as a deck coach.
Braden will be coaching under Coach Bob the Bronze and Silver
groups. Braden is no stranger to the pool, and you may
recognize him as he is also a life guard at the SHAC. Braden
is First Aid and CPR certified, and has been a private swim coach
while in St. George. Braden is also attending Dixie State
College.
Mac Patterson
is also joining our team as role coach. Mac will be
supporting the team during our meets running the Colorado Timing
System clock, and will be on-deck occasionally supporting Coach Bob
in the Silver/Gold group of swimmers. Mac has a very deep
swimming background having both swam and coached swimming for over
9 years in the Durango, CO area. During that time he was also
responsible for running the timing systems during the teams
meets. For his daytime job, Mac is an employee of Skywest.
